In 2007 Certu responded to several calls for projects as part of the 7th R&D Framework Programme.

Out of 5 bids, 2 were accepted, representing a 40% success rate. Certu is therefore a partner in the following projects:

• European Bus System of the Future (EBSF) where the project co-ordinator is UITP. Certu’s participation in this project makes it possible to create a link between this project and the COST BHNS action where Certu (François Rambaud) is the project leader. (surface call Transport).
• E-FRAME where the aim is to create a framework architecture for intelligent transport systems in Europe (European Framework Architecture for ITS), to enable inter-operable technical solutions to be designed: i.e. to enable information exchange, co-operation and even pooling of equipment and electronic media. Yannick Denis is representing Certu in this project.

Other bids are awaiting evaluation, particularly in the frame of the IEE programmes (Intelligent Energy Europe) and URBACT.
