Local road safety policies
The challenges currently facing local road safety policy involve decentralisation and the change to a policy based on partnerships, as demanded by the territorial authorities, and the simultaneous review of State-run road safety services. Certu’s action in this area mainly consists in informing those concerned of best practices, methods and tools for managing road safety policies. Certu organises information sessions for local councillors in conjunction with the AMF, as well as training and discussion groups and also produces case study sheets.
