Certu’s action is designed to respond to its partners’ demands. It produces tools and methods for setting up noise monitoring and implementing the directive on environmental noise assessment and management, providing local decision-makers with the means to combat noise pollution effectively.

Certu also works to ensure that noise is factored into planning documents such as territorial coherence schemes (SCoT), Local Urban Planning Schemes (PLU) and Urban Transportation Plans (PDU).
