This study topic deals with risks relative to natural and technological incidents. Certu’s work is aimed at minimising vulnerability in the urban environment. Every category of risk is therefore taken into account: natural risks (flooding, earthquake, ground movement and forest fires), industrial risks, like the incident in Seveso, risks related to transport networks (people, goods, fluids, energy and telecommunications).
