Parking, whether public or private, is a central spoke in urban policy, especially in the areas of business, housing and car traffic control. It involves many aspects - political, legal, technical, and behavioural - and all sorts of public officials and private business interestsParking policy has to meet a range of often conflicting demands, and take account of the specific nature of the area. For these policies to be successfully applied, changes in the law and regulations, technological progress and further discussion are called for.
