The Ministry’s Geomatics Technology Centre contributes to national policy on the acquisition of reference data. It is pursuing its efforts by being involved in defining training and assistance provisions for optimizing the use of geographic references by all concerned. Users include staff at the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Tourism and the Sea (Geomatics engineers, GIS data administrators, operators and order givers), together with external partners. Resources include works on the system, the technical regulations and support for setting up, maintaining, using and sharing GIS databases.
